Training Programme

Welcome to SureStart County Durham’s Integrated Training Programme 2008-2009. Incorporated into this training programme are training courses relating to the five areas of learning within the foundation stage curriculum, Early Years Foundation Stage, childcare and special educational needs.

All of the courses in this programme are free to early years and childcare practitioners within the maintained sector, private, voluntary and independent sectors, social care & health sector settings and all those involved in the development of Children’s Centres and Extended School Services.

If you would like to attend any of these training courses please complete and return the appropriate booking form to the address shown. Unfortunately, bookings cannot be taken by telephone. Places can only be offered on a first-come-first served basis.

To apply for a place on the courses found in section 2, please complete the booking form found on page 107 and return to surestartcountydurham@durham.gov.uk for the attention of Nicola Irving.

Supply cover funding may be available either through the Standards Fund allocation or through SureStart County Durham. If you would like to make a claim please complete the appropriate form which are available in this programme.
