Creation of New Childcare Places
To do this, funding may be available for those who would like to develop childcare for both full daycare and out of school childcare in areas where we feel it is needed.
Providers will be required to meet both national and local conditions agreed by SureStart County Durham. All providers will be expected to be able to meet a wide range of children’s needs including children with special needs.
An Expression of Interest Form is available. This is the initial form you will need to complete to tell us about your ideas and plans. If we think that your plans would create childcare in areas where it is much needed you will be invited to the application stage where you will need to demonstrate your plans, through business plans, marketing plans and cash flow forecasts. A panel would then decide whether to award you funding. Please note you cannot apply if you have already received Ofsted registration.
