Helping Children Make Sense of the Routine
To help the children learn the routine, place a chart (you could represent this as a train or caterpillar etc.), on the wall listing all the periods in a day, written in simple words (lower case), together with photographs of the children taking part in the activity.

You may wish to show how some parts of the routine last longer than others, by creating bigger boxes or more pictures.
