Funding can be used to cater for a wide range of individual needs and must relate to one or more of the following:
- Enabling members of staff to extend their confidence, skills and knowledge and to develop their good practice in the planning and management of provision, working with parents and support workers, i.e. training (which could not be used through the Access Fund).
- Development work to promote inclusion across the County or in individual settings, i.e. time for staff to access a toy loan scheme or reference materials.
- Enabling setting to meet specific childcare needs, i.e. access to existing provision e.g. toilet grab rails, hand rails, car seats.
